Getting started

The Advanced Tags plugin hooks into the Shopware core Tag entity. It adds fields to the existing configuration. To go to the configuration, go to Settings > Tags.

Showing tags on the website​

By default, tags are designed for internal use only and are not displayed on the website. To make a tag visible on the storefront, it must first be set as visible.

To make a tag visible, click on the desired tag, which will open a modal window. The plugin has added two new fields to this modal window:

  • Storefront Name: This field is used to name the tag that will appear on the storefront. It is possible to translate this field, and if it is left empty, the tag name field will be used.
  • Show on Storefront: This is a checkbox that enables the tag for use on the storefront. Once enabled, the tag will be displayed on the product detail page.
