Telegram

To configure the Telegram connection, You will have to register a Telegram bot, and add it to your chats.

Integration configuration

Bot API Token

1. Open the Telegram app in your browser or on your mobile phone
2. Open a chat with @BotFather
3. To create a new bot, run the /newbot command
4. Follow the steps for the newbot command, and copy the token from its response into the Shopware admin

Chat ID

Fill in the Chat ID where the integration should post to by default.

The Chat ID is a numeric value. The easiest way to obtain the Chat ID, is by using the Telegram web interface.

1. Visit the Telegram web interface.
2. Create a new chat with your (newly created) bot.
3. From the URL bar, copy the chat ID. This is the number after the #.
4. Fill in the number in the Shopware admin.
